Who I Am

I'm Gaurav Nayak, a fresher DevOps Engineer based in Pune with a B.E. in Information Technology from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Post Graduate Diploma (DITISS) from CDAC Pune — one of India's most respected IT training programs.

My CDAC training gave me intensive, hands-on exposure to Linux Administration, Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls), Security (IDS/IPS, Incident Response, System Hardening), and modern DevOps tooling including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform.

I've built real CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and provisioned cloud infrastructure from scratch. I'm passionate about automation, infrastructure as code, and building secure, scalable systems.

Currently seeking my first full-time role as a DevOps / Cloud / Linux Administrator where I can contribute, learn, and grow rapidly.

CI/CD Automation Pipeline
November 2024
Designed a full automated CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins — building, testing, containerizing, and deploying apps with minimal manual intervention. Integrated GitHub Webhooks for auto-triggered builds on every commit. Provisioned cloud infra using Terraform and orchestrated containers via Kubernetes with rolling updates.

Crop Recommendation System
January 2024
ML-based system suggesting optimal crops based on soil properties, weather, and historical yield data. Built an interactive web app with Flask + React for real-time farmer input and predictions. Visualized soil trends using Matplotlib and Seaborn.
